Careless dog owners
WHAT CAN YOU DO WHEN SOMEONE LEADS A DOG TO A PLACE WHERE ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED?
Animals are our friends, and even our family members, but they are not always allowed to enter certain areas. How should you react when someone leads a dog to a children’s playground, when they do not clean up after their dog or leave a dog running along the road?
The Utility Service is responsible for the orders that control whether dog owners carry a bag for cleaning and collecting dog faeces, if they collect it, whether dogs are kept on leashes and do not disturb traffic or endanger people.
When you see an unattended animal, you can inform the Utility Service or the Veterinary Inspection in your area.
If you are not sure what to do, whether to call the Veterinary Inspection or the Utility Service, call the Green phone on 072 123 456.
