We present the publication YOU CAN DO IT! - Independent and active citizens in environmental protection with the aim of encouraging citizens to participate actively and independently in solving environmental problems. It can be downloaded here.

We have successfully collaborated with citizens through the Croatian Green Phones for 26 years, through which we have received numerous reports of environmental issues. It is they who indicate the most prevalent environmental problems by calling us or sending us photos.

Although the aim of the Green Phones is to encourage citizens to participate actively and independently in solving environmental problems, the fact is that the citizens’ reports were for the most part either forwarded by Green Phones activists to the competent institutions or were handled independently.

Whether this was due to the lack of knowledge and relevant information or out of fear of public appearance, we do not know.
In this publication, we try to provide help and solutions to such problems.
This publication offers 20 solutions for 20 environmental problems and we hope it will encourage citizens to openly and publicly speak about the issues that concern us all, and to become responsible citizens and members of our local and global community.
