Overall objective: to build strong partnership and efficient long-term cooperation between Citizens, local and state authority departments and CSOs engaged in environment and nature protection

Specific objectives:

• to build project partners for active participation in solving environmental problems
• to foster transparency of local and state authority departments and cooperation with them
• to educate citizens on know-how and possibilities for active participation in environment and nature protection
• to contribute of resolving of specific local environmental and nature related problems
• to encourage civil and public sector cooperation

Main activities:

• Research on structures, mode, methods and means of work of local and state authority departments
• Regular work of Green Phone Service in targeted counties
• Maintaining capacity building programme (group of workshops and activities) on environment and nature protection for CSOs, related to environment and nature protection
• Broadcasting the radio/TV show on possibilities in active participating in environment and nature protection
• Maintaining capacity building programme (group of workshops and activities for local and state authority departments related to environment and nature protection
• Publishing of Publication on active participation in environment and nature protection

Estimated results:

• Publication/Detailed analysis on local and state authority departments work-field efficiency (level of transparency, human financial resources, the adoption of the principles of good governance, the success of the exercise of the right of access to information, way of organizing public debates, environmental impact assessments etc.) made and published
• increased knowledge, know-how methods and participation of the Citizens, CSOs project partners as well as local and state authority departments and services in environment and nature protection in targeted areas
• strengthened cooperation with local and state authority departments and services in environment and nature protection in in targeted areas
• higher percentage of successfully solved problems related to environment and nature protection
• higher recognition of Green Phone Service
